Zach and Riley met at the University of Arizona in February 2017. Their mutual friend, Nat, introduced them by inviting Riley to The Aggie House for a Super Bowl party. The Aggie House was an agriculture fraternity where Zach was the president. It wasn’t the typical frat party Riley would attend...but she ended up going, and her and Zach were immediately drawn to each other. I think everyone there could attest to this. From that day on, Riley became a frequent goer at The Aggie House.

Their relationship developed slowly. They enjoyed their Junior and Senior years having fun and spending time together as friends. Towards the end of Riley's senior year, Zach asked her to be his girlfriend.

Since their college days, they remained best friends even when they weren’t dating or living in the same state. Throughout the ups and downs, they always found their way back to each other. It may have taken eight years for us to get here but thank goodness we did!
